BEANS

The above result describes changes in the price of white Beans in the last one week. Result indicates higher variance in the wholesale and retail prices in Gboko main market, Benue state than other states in consideration. Though the market had the least wholesale price, it still had the highest retail price. Best wholesale price for White Beans is obtainable in Gombe Main Market, Gombe State.

GARRI

The above table indicates that there are better wholesale and retail pricing per kilogram for Garri in Southern states than in Northern states. This could be due to comparative advantage enjoyed by Delta state where such crops are majorly grown and Lagos state as a result of nearness to market. Just as for Beans Production, result indicates higher variance in the wholesale and retail price of Garri in Benue state as compared to other states. More so, for better wholesale and retail pricing, minimum price for Garri can be gotten in Dawanau Market, Kano State.

MAIZE

Result shows higher margin between Lagos and Benue State as Gboko Main Market, Benue state records the lowest amount of Maize per kg. Abia state had the least comparative advantage on Maize production and thus had higher price wholesale price. For better retail pricing, minimum price can be gotten in Dawanau Market, Kano State.

RICE

Above result indicates the average price of paddy Rice in Nigeria. Domestic Paddy Rice production has been on an increase by 3.2% bringing about lower importation of the commodity. Just like most other cereal commodities, results show that lower prices of Paddy Rice are gotten from Asunkunya, Benue State.
