NOT YOUR AVERAGE FARMER

For most people, when they think “Farmer” they think of a guy in brownish torn clothes standing on a plantation carrying a hoe. The irony is, nowadays, a Farmer could be seating right next to you in first class sipping that ice-cold glass of tequila bragging about how much money he’s got in the bank. Sounds like a paradox, right? But the truth is farming is fast becoming a buzz word in the circles of some of the wealthiest people in our society. By now, you’re probably thinking, does that mean farming is only for the rich guys? No! it’s not! And it shouldn’t matter which part of the spectrum you belong to anyway. What really matters is farming is good business and you’re missing out if you’re not already getting a piece of the action.

The question you probably want to ask you self is what aspect of farming should I go into? Or what aspect of farming pays the most? Or maybe your headache is, you don’t see how you can set up a business out of the city. About the last problem, ever heard of greenhouse farming? The dictionary defines a greenhouse as a building, room, or area, usually chiefly of glass, in which the temperature is maintained within a desired range, used for cultivating tender plants or growing plants out of season…The long and short if it is, you can have a farm in the city. You see? Yet another reason why farming may be for you.
